Hi Chad, hello all,
today I would like to make some language overlapping proposals for the structure of the Campaign Wikia's.
Maybe anybody like some of this...
Unfortunately its very silent here. :-( And I miss Jimmy.
I would like to start working...

Voters Guide
---
I like the voters guide on the basis of the UN geoscheme and I think this should be a perfect base for all language wikias. My personal opinion. :)
I would like, if candidates would also get a personal User Acount (!), so that the topics from the candidates would have three scopes and the political candidates activ will be integrated:
1. a neutral scope, where the candidates have nothing to seek and where the information about the candidate will only write from the peoples in a neutral form
2. a scope only for the candiate, where the candidate can declare oneself and take a stand about topics
3. a own forum, where the candidate can discuss with voters

Electoral Calender
---
I like the elctoral calender and i think this should be also a perfect base for all language wikias. Only problem: the languages. If we have a new entry in the english site, we will have no update on other language sites and vice versa.
Solution: international standarts. The main structure of all basic topics should be set after colloborations generell as standarts. For the electoral calender we should take the structure of the calender in english as the standart, searchable by area. The administration of the country calender should be by people from the countrys, which speak english and her country language.
Then this admins would make the following:
set the new entry in her country language and in english. So we would have every entry in english and the country language. With the english entry the people from all other languages can translate, if they want.
A example for the calender in english:
January xx 2007: Germany, President (en,de)
The same entry on the german wikia:
xx Januar 2007: Deutschland, Kanzler (en,de)
And on all other language sites will be stand automatical the english entry:
January xx 2007: Germany, President (en,de)
And with the automatical english entry, the people can now desice: either they let the entry in english or the translate in her home language)

Campaigns Guide
---
A campaigns guide, which is searchable by theme and area. So we could choose or create a campaign over four ways.
theme > area > campaigns
area > theme > campaigns
theme > all campaigns
area > all campaigns
Themes as basic topics like "Civil Rights", "Education" etc. with undertopics with the special themes to the basic theme, like on campaigns.wika.com
But I think this basic topics should be set after a colloboration as standarts for all language Wikias, so that the interchange with links is easy. Different basic topics for themes would be very complicating for the international work. Maybe the UN has also a guide for political standart topics scopes? If yes, we should only translate this in the single languages. If not, we should create our own :)
For the campaigns sites I think its also very important, that the basic site of a campaign is compact. Short informations with links in the information text to underpages or outside links (for example Wikipedia). So people can decide: Need I more information as the standartinformation or not? If yes, the people can click the links in the text. If not, they can fast make here pro _or_ contra statement or read infos for meetings or actions.
But this is also general important: Many people have not the time and the patience to read longer texts. So it would be good if we would set such a practice as a standart: fast introduction - and if they need more infos, they can click the links in the infotext to underpages or outside links.
This standart headings or scopes I would propose:
info (compact campaign info with deeper links), pro, contra, list of supporters, meetings, actions, weblinks, forum
