In fact, finding a way to make real-life polls more like wiki polls would
make electronic voting very interesting. Imagine an electronic referendum
where people can change their minds (before a cut-off date), are expected to
give reasons for their votes, can say they will vote yes if certain
conditions are met, can suggest changes to the proposal etc.

Hi everyone,
Jason recently put into place the Poll extension for use in all wikis.
We've tested this internally but would like some broader use to expose
any issues. Can some of you please make use of it and let us know if you
see any issues?
Overview: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Poll (we're using Eric
David's Poll).
Actual usage: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utilisateur:Serenity/poll.php
Thanks,
John Q.
