[Campaigns-l] becoming concerned - what is your license?

Top level domains (.com, .org, .net, etc.) really don't have any real
meaning. It was designed so "for-profits" to use .com, "non-profits" to use
.org, and networks to use .net, but there are no laws in place that create
any restrictions. Wikia.com is a for-profit company, and they maintain and
grow through the use of paid advertising via Google.
If this really catches on, and we decide to create an non-profit
organization to handle things like Wikipedia did, then that would be
appropriate. Otherwise, I think we're fine.
