And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exhibit #1 of what is WRONG with politics
today.

It's a great idea not to elect drug addicts or sluts, and that properly
should be exposed. Agreed.  But to "hint" that this *might* be the case with
your opponent (in a nasty attack ad, or by rumor and inuendo) is the more
likely use of sexuality in campaigns these days.

It seems to me that all aspects of a politician's behavior should be up for
criticism. Bush hasn't had a sexual misstep but other aspects of his life,
such as his cocaine use, should be up for analysis. Many people don't want
to elect drug addicts, and others don't want to elect sluts.
