[Campaigns-l] "Common ground" and a new tone to campaigns

I've taken the initiative on a couple of issues articles to try to turn the
discussion away from partisan vitriol (which we get everywhere else) towards
the intent of the site - to find common ground and a new way of going about
doing politics.

Below is the code I've used on the marijuana
http://campaigns.wikia.com/wiki/Marijuana and arts
http://campaigns.wikia.com/wiki/Arts articles. I was able to start the
discussion on both with an idea of what I had in mind - conciliation, not
rhetoric - even though I have my own views on both issues. That should be
the goal here: Subverting the desire to spout of the party line, while
finding new ways to express issues and change the tenor and tone of
political campaigns.

If you like this, please replicate it.

Feedback? Sure. Go ahead ;-)

==Common ground and innovative ways to find it==
<!-- Note: this isn't where we spell out rigidly held, partisan views. Use
the above sections for that. -->
''In the spirit of this site, below is a list of ways we can find the common
ground we share on this issue. This is what we wish politicians would say
about this issue.''
