state of the 'how'? [Re: [Campaigns-l] political discussion list policy?]

We've established a foundation, in the form of links to every country
and an electoral calendar. We've gotten distracted by policy debates
due to people, including me, banging foreheads together on issues
instead of building content. It's part and parcel of the process, I
guess.

It's too late to build anything significant for the 2006 election, but
we're doing outreach to the major 2008 campaigns in the US, and asking
fellow activists around the world to do the same for their own
upcoming campaigns.

It's gotten slower and slower the closer we get to November 7th. Most
of the contributors are from the US, as would tend to make sense, but
we're getting good help from Chili and the UK as well. Ingmar will
have to speak for the German language site, Japanese is growing fast,
and I'm not sure about the others.
