That's not exactly an apology for calling the Catholic Church a lie, but I'll have to head over to Chad's blog to continue the conversation.  That's of course after I report Luis to the Pope.  ; )

Answering your email with mine was a mistake. It's not a question of
"feeding trolls" as some have already suggested to me. It's a
question of what place specific topics and discussion threads have in
the big picture of participatory politics. We each have our forums,
and we all have our "flocks". Let's use this list to figure out how
to work together. The wiki is where debates need to happen. This
list needs to answer the question "how", not "what".
