<body>Okay, stated more bluntly--i.e. putting "theory" into "concrete practice" for those who have difficulty making the final conclusion of a rational argument.<BR>
<BR>
1) The structure of this "system" is what I am raising questions about.<BR>
2) Specifically, just because this "system" is on the internet, has a well-known "brand-name" of Wki in front of it,<EM> who</EM> specifically creates, moderates, etc. this forum?<BR>
3) My original query was why a <U>partisan e-mail (made by Jennifer)</U> that exhorted "unity" by bracketing out issues such as abortion was left unchallenged, and when I did so in a polite way (please see original e-mail), the mass of liberals on the net attacked me.<BR>
4) What are the qualifications (academic, vocational, governmental) of those who construct this forum??? I am also a part of conservative lists and so more is known, and such lists do not claim to be non-partisan.<BR>
5) The final "connecting of the dots" (please see Foucault article) is concerning the power dynamics of this forum. Chad, are you democratically elected to serve in this position? If so, when was the election? Chad, if not elected, by whom were you appointed, and with what credentials does this person or persons utilize to make such appointment? (good ole liberal boys network)<BR>
6) I am fighting this battle (and will spread the word about Wiki-Campaign's highly partisan nature, while claiming a supposed objectivity) because the name "Wiki" implies a certain level of credibility due to the Wikipedia online encyclopedia, a credibility that Wiki-campaigns has yet to demonstrate (e.g. the Florida elections had no information on any of the candidates, such as the Governor's race, just a week or so prior to the November 7th elections, <U>thus not even being about political campaigns!!!</U>).<BR>
7) Concerning the ethical implications of technology, Foucault (himself a liberal secularist!) is an excellent reading for liberals, who wrongly demonize their opposition while over-looking their own hypocrisy and efforts to silence their opposition by denying due process. By seeking to monopolize this on-line forum for a liberal agenda (while claiming it is for technological reasons), you are becoming a mirror image of the utopian-minded Bolsheviks who were assured of their own innate goodness, while nonetheless denying due process to viewpoints other than their own. For example, a partisan issue of "establishing a technological political party" was raised just this week, yet NO ONE CALLS FOR THEIR "SILENCING." If a Christian voices a concern (any concern), we are "subject to moderation." Okay, let's at least be honest (Chad & you liberals out there!). A political party is recommended (not a technological or structural issue), and this is allowed, but voicing any opposition to abortion being removed by the "unity movement" is itself considered an internet crime??? Go read <U>Animal Farm</U> (the book, that is!) and see how you are becoming nothing but a bunch of Bolsheviks . . .<BR>
