hi there,
just discovered that there is 0.7.6 c# client as of yesterday. i was
waiting already for some kind of annoucement. well too bad.
anyways, the 0.7.5 client which i had last week (after i stopped using
grubng as of february 2008 or something) installed itself (windows) into
"\program files\grub next generation\"
from february 2008 i still have the "\program files\grubng\" folder.
odd engough, the 0.7.6 installer (windows .exe from webpage) wanted to
install itself into this very old folder "...\grubng\". i wonder why
this has been changed, or why the 0.7.5 build installed itself into a
new directory.
kinda messy if you ask me.
anyways, next step is that with upgrading from 0.7.5 to 0.7.6 c# client
now asks me again for my credentials (user/pass) although it was
properly saved in the 0.7.5 client.
well. the 0.7.6. client still crashes the same way as did the 0.7.5
client. i press the start/run button or whats it called and the little
red error box comes up and crash/end.
the end of the error.log file shows the new crash:
