An index of creative commons resources would be very interesting.
One issue, though, is that sometimes the license of the content is changed.
Here in Brazil one of the winner projects of Yahoo Hack Day was a Flickr
mash-up that you could use to "record" that a picture had the creative
commons license, to avoid future problems if the content was already being
used under this license and then the author changed it.
