Something funny:

I just watched "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" at one point
the Rachel Bitterman character (Joan Cusack) makes speech to the
muppets about working for money and the resemblance to some of Jason
Calacanis' pitches was striking...

That got me wondering if the analogy couldn't go further in a couple
of directions.  Personifying the conflict between closed source,
intellectual property based business and the do gooder community of
open source in a muppets movies is an interesting thought.  Is the
collaborative and often somewhat chaotic world of wikipedia (and
really, the whole open source / open content community) like the
muppets?  Working for a dream?
