I love this one, obviously :)
If your goal is *first* to improve the world of search and make a
difference in the world, and only secondary to make a living doing
it, then I'm not sure how much more powerful of a move you could make
towards that than by open sourcing and leading a new project around
what you've done.
Whereas, if your primary motive is to profit from it, and you think
open source might help in some fashion, you'll probably find it
frustrating and misleading.

If you decide to OS it just sign up on the wiki and we'll help get
any project hosting and shared dev/test environments set up and help
improve/promote it.
