[Search-l] Wikia Site Search?

Ive been thinking and when i was looking at some sites whilst i was
searching the internet recently i saw something that in my opinion would be
a nice thing to be able to do with
Wikia Search.  basically a function similar to google site search (
http://www.google.com/sitesearch/) and would allow webmasters to add a
search function from wikia search onto their own websites.  (im sure someone
else around has thought of this already)

multiple things would come from this including, more in depth crawling of
sites that want to be crawled, helping both improve our index but also
giving targeted users better results for the sites which they want.  also
the users would/could then be attracted into using wikia search more and
contribute increasing the reach etc of the project.  also google charge for
their site search service, so i wouldnt have thought it would be much
trouble getting people to use it with the right approaches.

it would need a small amount of work to get it set up, with domain only
searches and also some kinda interface to enable the easy targeted crawling
of certain domains (although i thought this was somewhere in the pipeline
already?)

thoughts anyone?
