Not exactly. It's a matter of permissions. I can only change things
customizable via wiki messages. The
top login link, isn't, that's why i left it. But i now realise it has an
id, so it's hidden now :)
The links say log in because there's no way in the wiki grammar to tell
if a user is logged in or not. The
change from "Log in" to "Log out" is usually done by the skin, ie. a
file at Wikia's server. I can't touch that,
and any wikitext to detect that would need an extension, more file access.
Could still be done as a javascript hack, but i don't find it too clean,
nor is clear what to do with the Search
log in to know if it's logged in or not, sniff the cookies?? Also,
arriving at http://alpha.search.wikia.com/login/logout.html
without being logged there means that next time you log in, you'll
automatically get logged out.
