This is a prioritized to do list as I see it:

o Set up a project control site, with a real issue tracking system.
o Collect all issues in the tracking system, harvesting
   "search:Unresolved issues", the feature and bug report pages,
   and relevant forum and mailing list entries, in that order of
   priority.
o Prioritize the issues.

This should make it clear what is being worked on and what should be 
next.  It also allows for better community involvement in setting 
priorities for the issues proper.
