Is there any timescale for when the search client will be updated?

Some things are fixed in the svn version working that are not working
at present.

For example:
(i) The html is valid in the svn version.
(ii) Some bugs related to "results running out have been fixed".
(iii) Images in mini-articles display properly.

Most of the experimental code that has been written is in separate
files so can easily be ignored.


Also, would it be possible to host a "bleeding-edge" version of the
search interface in addition to the normal version. This might be
inclined to make things move more quickly as changes will have
immediate results. Also I'd quite like to gratify my ego by seeing
some of the things I've written running live somewhere.
