They are, apparently, just as "open" as Wikiasearch. There is quite a 
difference between Open Search and Open Source. What Yahoo is doing is 
getting in on the Social Search idea where the users and other tweak the 
results. Open Search, to my mind, means bringing the user into the 
search process. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft may well be dinosaurs to 
some but the smaller search engines have to be careful not to get stood 
on by these giants.
