Somehow I think that if Wikia Search was really more about social 
networking, the public introduction would have been much more of a 
media blitz. 

It would have been tons of Wordpress plugins, YouTube vids, blog 
trackbacks and posts, quick ways to add modules to search any website 
that the feature is added to, it would have been embedded in tons of 
MySpace profiles etc. etc. But that's not what happened.
