A good starting point for contributing to Wikia Search is the community
portal: http://search.wikia.com/wiki/search:Community_Portal

Good ways to contribute are:

o Write or improve Mini articles in the Search Wiki.
Simply use the search engine to search for the word(s) you are
interested in and use the edit link in the mini article area above the
search results to start editing a mini article. If you already have
suitable text, simply copy and paste the text.

If your search query is in language X (Hindi, for example), then the
mini article should also be in language X. If you have text in
multiple languages, the best way is to create separate mini articles
for each language, and using interlanguage links to link them.
Note that at the moment, interlanguage links for non-english
languages are not very well supported.
   See
http://search.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:Languages_of_the_Mini_Articles#Interlanguage_Links

If this is too complicated for you, you have the option of putting
all languages on the same page (each under its own heading).

Remember that Wikia Search is a search engine. Mini articles
should be short and sweet. If you are looking
to write encyclopedic articles, consider contributing
   to http://www.wikipedia.org/ instead.

o Translate existing pages to a language that you know.

o Add starting points for the grub crawlers to the whitelist (use Google
   to find the whitelist).

Have fun contributing! Rainer
