[Search-l] Roadmap

Hi everyone

After read last Jeremie mail i start think, that we really need any
(even very simple) roadmap for project. If we start talking about
everything in this same moment then we never do anything ;) Or maybe
someone has ability to employ half population of China? ;)
So, my proposition is: end starting discussions about different aspects
of project and try focus on one. If we finish one topic, we can start
discuss on next. There is too small amount of people (especially
developers) to talk about everything. Plus every aspect can modify
other, and then we land in never ending discussion. For now i think we
need something basic: standards. My proposition for roadmap is:

1. Now we start discuss about new version of workunits proposed by
Balinny. This is most important part of project at this moment. Old
format is not too flexible, especially if we want add new options for
project.

2. Secure protocol - we must have reliability about uploaded to search
database url's.

3. Extending GrubNG by propositions from Jeremie mail The Open Loop.

Of course order on list can be changed. Plus, list must be always open
for everyone who want add any proposition. Additional advantage of
roadmap is - other people can know what is created now in project and
if someone wants join, been know what is most important to do at
this moment. I don't demand to stop adding ideas for GrubNG (this been
worse than present situation) but, for now we must stop talking and
start walking.

Bartek
