The idea is very simple, it's a wild card search facility for URL's, here is an example</SPAN></FONT></P>

<P><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Go to Google and type <A href="http://www.cti*.com/" target=_blank>www.cti*.com</A> because you want all the URL's that start with "cti" and end in ".com" if you look at the actual URL's not all and in fact most do not start with "<A href="http://www.cti/" target=_blank>www.cti</A>" or end in ".com" !!</SPAN></FONT></P>

Also this search could be combined with other words to filter even further e.g.</SPAN></FONT></P>
