Are you talking about pages related to Wikia Search, or the mini-articles?

For pages about Wikia, like the home page and FAQ, then a subpage like
[[FAQ/ja]] is best for now until these become separate wikis.

For the mini-articles, it's more complicated since they are all likely
to soon move to the main namespace, so I suggest waiting until after
that before deciding where to put translations.
