[Vim-l] Duplicates or not (gf(1075) and :find(1146))

Hello,
I'd like your opinion on two tips.
- Tip 1075: http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/VimTip1075
- Tip 1146: http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Project_browsing_using_find.
Both are closelly related as they address the issue of navigating based on
filenames and &path.
Therefore, I think they could benefit from being merged. However, the initial
intent of the former tip was about gf that can take a count (which is quite a
low-lewel task already available in vim documentation), and was not about
jumping to a file (high-level vision of what is really done).
So. Merging? Not merging ? How do you see things here ?
BTW: I know there is another script that addresses the same issue, but I can't
remember its same -- as I already have my searchInRuntime script that does all I
need.
