Only staff can assign bot flags. I've just done this for JohnBot. Let
me know if it ever needs to be removed. The bot flag prevents edits by
this bot showing up in the default recent changes, though you can
choose to view such edits by clicking "show bots" there. This only
applies to future edits made by JohnBot, not the ones already made.
