Good - I've just fixed the redirects.

Hmmm. I see that JohnBot edits still appear in Recent changes despite Angela
setting the bot flag around 24 hours ago. I wonder if I need to log off and
log on again for the system to notice.

Using pywikipedia, you run login.py to create a cookie. That cookie seems to
be valid for an extended period (like a month). I'll try deleting it and
logging in again before doing any more edits.
