Erm...
Last time I checked the GFDL requires attribution to the authors to be 
preserved, not attribution to the source.
That's the reason why it's perfectly fine for us to export a page 
history from Wikipedia and import it without adding a template to the 
top of the page. Because the history is preserved.

Of course, only copying the first revison, and infringing on Wikia's 
Service Mark would be a different case. Not to mention the fact that 
users are not the same.
