In China, we know the problem  is censorship. Jimmy Wales has met with
officials there in attempts to discuss an unblock of Wikimedia and
Wikia projects. Currently I believe Wikipedia is unblocked but
Wikinews and Wikia are still blocked in mainland China. I'm not sure
what the problem is in India yet, but it's something we'll look into
as it is important to us to make sure the knowledge being created at
Wikia is globally available, both for reading and editing.
