[Wikia-l] New wikis list

Thank you for the great suggestions surrounding launching new international
language versions of our project.

In fact, we had already implemented those exact ideas, even before coming to
Wikia!
We had originally planned to use ScaryPageTransclusion to facilitate
cross-language templating, but have since found other methods to achieve
similar results.

In fact, this link is on our Main Page, under the 'Marvel Database Project
International' section.

I would never expect Wikia to turn down a new wiki request because of my
projects, but I would expect that new wikis launched would not share the
name of an existing project, if they are not related. It would only be
confusing to the readers.

With that said, I understand there is no formalized way right now for Wikia
to prevent this occurance again, in future. Might I suggest some sort of
database which can be searched before creating a new wiki? This will ensure
that wikis of the same topic will share a parent url, where applicable, and
that unrelated wikis won't.
